Jacob Paul is a 2012 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Kingston, NY who attends Kingston. Big strong build with athleticism. Very good fielding tools at 1B. Smooth to the ball with good hands and body control, Short arm action, online with good accuracy. Wide open stance at the plate, does a good job of closing up. Big, long swing with bat speed and contact to the middle of the field. Has strength and power potential. Throws from 3/4 slot on the mound. Lots of deception and moving parts in his delivery. Short arm action with tight circle int he back. Fastball velocity was consistent in the high 70s, topping at 81. Curveball at 70 showed shape and solid break. Very good student.
