Nick Muhlenbruch is a 2005 middle infielder/pitcher from Iowa City, Iowa, with an athletic 5'10", 160 lb. frame. Defensively, Muhlenbruch has solid actions with good feet and range. He has a solid arm with good accuracy that may play better at 2B at the next level. Muhlenbruch has a good approach at the plate with a line drive swing path. He does a good job of going with pitches to the opposite field with above average balance. Muhlenbruch has good first step quickness with good instincts on the bases. He looks like a line drive contact LH hitter with above average bat control who should hit for a high average at the next level. Nick is an excellent student.
