Robbie Barrett is a 2013 RHP/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Dr Phillips HS. Tall slender pitcher's build, good physical projection. Complicated delivery, lots of moving parts, compact arm action with good arm quickness, high 3/4's arm slot, throws downhill but has some backside collapse, looking for consistency. Fastball to 85 mph, gets running action to both sides of the plate and works down well. Slurve type breaking ball, flashes some 2 plane depth, good feel for locating breaking ball, rare change up. Has some deception, arm strength and feel for pitching. Right handed hitter, drifts to contact, double toe tap trigger, some hand strength, solid mid field line drive contact. 7.04 runner, accurate arm from the outfield, shows his athleticism. Excellent student. Named to the Top Prospect Team.
