R.J. Anderson is a 2005 outfielder from Seffner Florida with a lean, athletic frame at 5 ft. 11 165 pounds. He ran the fastest, outdoor laser timed 60, in Perfect Game history with a 6.27. He also ran a 3.98 home to first. He hits from an upright stance with low hands and a downward swing plain with not much extension. He is a pull line drive hitter with some untapped power potential. He has strong hands and can get the bat through the zone quickly. Defensively, he has excellent instincts and outstanding range and can make very tough exciting plays. He is among the top defensive outfielders in the country. He has incredible speed and excellent defensive skills, which makes him a highest level prospect with high draft potential. R.J is a good student who has signed with South Florida.

R.J. Anderson is a lean athletic 5'11/165 "05" OF from Seffner, FL. He is a great athlete with MLB plus running speed. A true centerfielder who has to rank right at the top of all HS outfielders defensively. He's an exciting, player who can make acrobatic plays look fairly routine. His arm plays well and his instincts are outstanding. RJ shows excellent hitting ability and even some power potential, but his bat is not yet on the level of his defensive talent. With some work in the cage over the off season RJ could turn into a very high draft pick by June. He was selected and attended the PG AFLAC Showcase in Baltimore.
