Tyler Peyton is a 2012 RHP/3B with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Grimes, IA who attends Dallas Center-Grimes HS. Young looking slender build, plenty of room to add strength. Tall drifting delivery, deep arm circle in back with quick stab, arm is rushing to catch up, accelerates to the plate, loose fast arm out front, high 3/4's release point but will drop lower at times. Upper 80's fastball, touched 90 mph, good run and sink at times, tends to work arm side with fastball. Fair curveball spin, good shape but can improve power, hitters don't seem to recognize curveball well, developing change up. Limited pitching experience, improving every outing, bright future. Signed with Iowa Central CC

Tyler Peyton is a 2012 RHP with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Grimes, IA who attends Dallas Center-Grimes HS. Long, loose athletic build. Hand drop delivery with pause at the top, deep arm action with some stab, quick arm, high 3/4's extended release with good downhill angle, will pull off the plate at times on release causing ball to stay up. Upper 80's fastball, touched 90 mph, mostly straight with occasional cut to the glove side. Slows arm on both off speed pitches, curveball gets fair spin with 10/4 sweeping shape, developing change up. Young pitching skills and mechanics but has tons of talent to develop. Signed with Iowa Central CC.

Tyler Peyton is a 2012 3B/RHP, 1B with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Grimes, IA who attends Dallas Center-Grimes. Long, lanky frame with lots of room to fill out. Solid tools on the infield. Profiles as 3B. Hands are clean and arm action is good. 85 mph velocity across infield was one of day's best. Slightly open stance at the plate with a big load. Uppercut swing with a power approach. Good contact skills with power to come. Pitches from 3/4 slot with easy, simple mechanics and good arm speed. Long arm action with consistent mid-80s fastball velocity, up to 88. Fastball showed sink and sweeping curveball at 74 had solid break. Flashed changeup at 74 with developing feel. Good student. Solid pitcher to watch.
