Nicholas Kuzia is a 2014 RHP/IF with a 6-3 160 lb. frame from Seymour, CT who attends Seymour. Tall, lean, athletic frame with plenty of room to fill out. Ran a 7.68 60 yard dash. Primary right handed pitcher who throws from an over the top arm slot with a clean arm action. Fastball topped out at 77 mph but projects for more with added strength on frame. Has a nice feel for 12/6 curveball which topped at 68 mph with good depth and throws for strikes. Tends to throw across body at times but attacks strike zone with all pitches. Flashes a feel for both a change up and knuckleball down in the zone for strikes. Quick transfer with accurate arm across the infield. Short arm action and makes all plays. Right handed batter who hits from a closed, crouched stance and makes hard LD contact to middle of field. Will continue to develop with some filling out. Very good student.
