Robert Jaracz is a 2007 RHP/3B/1B from Sandy Creek HS in Tyrone, GA, with a 6'0", 202 lb. frame. Jaracz is a strong athlete who plays hard with competitiveness. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with good arm speed. He looks athletic on the mound and stays balanced during his delivery. He gets good run on his fastball from 77-79 mph, and projects to add more velocity in the near future. His curveball was his best pitch with good spin and tight break, and had more of a slurve type break to it. Jaracz knows this pitch can be good for him and he goes to it often. When he gets his curveball over for strikes, we bet he is hard to hit. Offensively he has strength in his swing and made solid contact. We see his future on the mound, and he is a good student as well.

Jaracz is a sophomore right handed pither from Georgia with a strong, proportionate body. He showed us some arm strength during his two innings of work, topping out at 81 mph on his fastball and doing a good job of keeping this pitch down in the strike zone. Jaracz’s key pitch is his curveball. During the first inning, he didn’t have much feel for his release point and struggled. During the second inning, he settled down and threw some very sharp 65-67 mph breaking balls that overmatched hitters and he had an easy inning. We didn’t see any change ups. Jaracz is also a good student.
