Joseph Ravert is a 2012 RHP/1B with a 6-2 245 lb. frame from Havertown, PA who attends Malvern Prep. Strong thick build, body projects well on the mound. High 3/4 arm slot, long easy arm action, clean delivery, good armside run on fastball, feel for 11-5 curveball and straight changeup, around the plate with all pitches, good feel for changing speeds. Good strength in swing, short simple left-handed swing, ball comes off the bat well, goes with the pitch, has good offensive tools to work with. Big arm strength in the field, feet work, soft hands. Strong student.
