Kyle Kemp is a 2014 RHP with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Port Charlotte, FL who attends Port Charlotte HS. Strong athletic build, fairly mature physically. Big back turn delivery, lots of energy and moving parts, athletic enough to control balance and direction, comes from different arm slots from side arm to high 3/4's with intent. Fastball up to 91 from higher slots, throws mid 80's with big tailing/sinking life from lowest release points, keeps ball low well with consistent life. Primary fastball pitcher, rare curveball this outing, has shown good curveball spin in the past, uses different looks and movement to mix it up. Good student, verbal commitment to Florida.
