Stephen Petriello is a 2012 C/3B with a 5-8 180 lb. frame from South Plainfield, NJ who attends South Plainfield. Strong athletic build, body projects well behind the plate. Short simple swing, consistent solid contact, pop to all fields, squares the ball up well, swung it better during the games, aggressive, attacks baseball. Good receiver behind the plate, feet work, accurate arm, throws carry, good feel for the game. Outstanding student.
