Michael Zidek is a 2012 MIF/3B with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Long Beach, CA who attends Wilson HS. Slender angular build, young look. 6.93 runner, quick feet on defense, can work through ground balls better, low release angle on throws, accurate, arm strength best suited for second base. Right handed hitter, leg lift trigger, wide base, aggressive rotational swing, attacks early in count, looks to pull, shows some gap power, squares up well, has late lift in swing. Good student.
