Seth Ballew is a 2013 LHP/OF with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Sugar Land, TX who attends Travis HS. Medium to shorter athletic build, has some present strength. Two-way prospect. Cross body delivery, long extended arm action with over the top release, can get more directional to the plate. Fastball to 83 mph, gets good spin at times on downer 12/6 curveball, tends to slow arm on change up, some feel for pitching and changing speeds. Left handed hitting outfielder, strong OF arm with very accurate on line throws, 7.17 runner. Aggressive swing from straight stance, has some bat speed, solid pull line drive contact, big stride and commits early and gets extension out front. High energy player, knows how to play and will out perform his physical tools. Good student.
