Chris Grupp is a 2012 C/3B/RHP with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from The Woodlands, TX who attends College Park HS. Thick build, good present strength. Sound footwork receiving, accurate throws, will throw runners out, 2.03 best pop time, can improve lower half quickness. Pre-load hitting approach, hands back and low, shows lift in long swing, looks to pull, shows opposite field power. Also pitched, fast paced delivery, over the top release point, fastball to 81 mph, good curveball depth. Good student.
