John Pryor is a 2013 LHP/1B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from St Paul, MN who attends Minnehaha Academy. Young loose slender build. Rock back delivery with big leg raise, high 3/4's arm slot works on line and downhill, full clean arm circle, arm works well out front. Mid 80's fastball, flashed 87-88 mph on a couple of pitches, mostly straight with occasional arm side run. Slows body severely on all off speed pitches, soft slider best current offering, throws slider for strikes as primary breaking ball. Must learn to throw off speed stuff with full body/arm speed, has the rest of the package ready to develop. Very good student.
