Matthew Rivera is a 2013 MIF/RHP, OF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Pennsauken, NJ who attends Montverde Academy. Rivera has a lean build. He hits from a spead stance at the plate, wraps bat to load, stays inside ball, good contact when barrel gets through zone, flat bat path, flashes good batspeed. He has a short arm action in the infield, solid actions, has arm strength, light on feet. Also pitched, long arm action, solid downhill plane, solid 11/5 slider. He is a solid student. Named to Top Prospect Team at this event.
