Danny Mayer is a 2013 RHP/OF with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Downers Grove, IL who attends Downers Grove South HS. Big framed build, strong with room to get stronger. Long extended arm action, high 3/4's arm slot, throws downhill, some effort at release, timing/release point inconsistent at this point. Mid 80's fastball, topped out at 88 mph, mostly straight but with good angle. Big overhand 12/6 curveball has good spin and depth, nice change up with late fading action. Projects to get better, has good off speed to go with projectable fastball velocity. Right handed hitter, long rotational swing, late loading action, shows pull power. Verbal commitment to Pacific.

Some strength with the bat, tall stand, quiet load, good extension out front, front side hitter, some present strength in his hands, projects power.
