Lots of potential as a middle infielder. Moves well, shows athleticism, natural SS actions. Good body control and feel. Arm is loose and accurate with more velocity to come. Good bat speed at the plate, swing plane works. Deep hand load, line drive swing with weight shift and hip rotation. Good contact to right-center field, will drive the ball more with additional strength. Good foot speed, solid baserunner. Threw inning on mound. Well paced delivery with long, smooth arm circle. Good arm speed on changeup, curveball shows depth. Interesting player to follow. Very good student.

Mitchell Moser is a 2013 MIF/RHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Atkins, IA who attends Benton Community. Medium lean athletic build. Hits from a slightly open stance with a high hand set, good setup. Smooth hands with quick trigger, loose fluid swing actions. Stays balanced, simple repeatable swing, good approach, good bat speed, ball carries well. All fields, very solid present hitter. Showed significant improvement from the spring, mechanics are much more polished, tools have developed as well. Also developed on mound, especially secondary offerings. Good feel for 11-5 curveball with good shape, changeup comes out clean but slows arm a bit. Good extension, online delivery. Very good student.

Long arm action, has some arm strength for sophomore, throws carry, soft hands, tends to lay back on ground balls, will learn with experience. Straight stance hitting, long rotational swing, squares up well, hits to all fields, good balance at contact, has a feel for hitting, will improve with additional strength and shorter swing. Also pitched, long arm action, long stride, high 3/4's release point. Steady upper 70's fastball with good sink when low, soft curveball. Carries himself like a ball player, should continue to improve. Good student.
