Matt Fogarty is a 2015 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Millis, MA who attends Millis. Large, athletic build with a broad shoulder and a strong, mature build. Primary left-handed pitcher, works from a high three-quarter arm slot with a full arm action coming through the back side. Simple, repeatable delivery, easy arm action and gets on top of the ball well while creating angle from the first base side, on line finish with lower half. Shows pitchability with a nice feel on the mound. Locates fastball to both sides of the plate, comes out of hand easily topping out at 82 mph. Late breaking 1-7 curveball with depth at 74 mph with a nice feel and flashed a changeup at 76 mph. Strong arm from the outfield, uses lower half well, attacks the ball and works through it nicely. Left-handed hitter, starts with a high hand set and back elbow. Gets hands to the ball well, drifts to front foot early at times, fluid swing path with consistent line drive contact to the middle of the field. Named to Northeast Top Prospect List.
