Daniel Chavarria is a 2013 IF/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Etiwanda, CA who attends Etiwanda HS. Slender athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. Very good runner, 6.70 on a slow surface. Has centerfield tools on defense, developing infield actions and footwork, speed and arm actions would play well in the outfield. Right handed hitter, no stride approach, back side flies, has quick hands to the ball, line drive contact, looks to pull. Needs to create a positive weight shift to take the next step with the bat. Has athletic tools and time to develop. Good student.
