Strong athletic build, good present strength. 3/4's arm slot, sound delivery mechanics, could use lower half better, compact arm in back. Fastball to 83 mph, have seen up to 86 frequently in the past, heavy fastball with good sink down in zone, sinkerball/ground ball pitcher. Slider showed good bite and some depth, was around the plate with both pitches and competed. Good student.

Blake Hamilton is a 2014 RHP with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Ringgold, GA who attends Heritage HS. Very nice pitcher's build, present strength and good projectability. Deliberate delivery, compact arm action, 3/4's slot, repeats delivery pretty well. Fastball to 84 mph, good late fastball life, works down in the zone well. Nice change up with arm speed and sink, tends to drop release point and elbow on curveball, sweeping action. Should keep improving. Good student.

Blake Hamilton is a 2014 RHP with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Ringgold, GA who attends Heritage HS. Tall athletic pitcher's frame, projects very well. Solid pitching mechanics, good pace, low effort, repeats delivery well for his age, high 3/4's arm slot, quick and loose arm coming through. Steady 82-84 mph fastball, mostly straight with occ cutting action, curveball has very good velocity with hard spin and tight biting action, good depth at times, potential plus pitch, tends to slow arm on change up. Mixes up pitches, works corners with intent and throws strikes. Shows athleticism off the mound. Very talented sophomore pitcher with a high ceiling. Good student. Named to the Top Prospect Team.
