Johnson is a top notch athlete with some serious baseball ability. He is a 6 foot 1 and 185 pound outfielder with a lean athletic build and speed. He ran a 6.90 in the 60 and with the quick jump he got on balls, that speed played real well defensively. He is an instinctual player and made a few plays in center field that you seldom see. He threw with 80 mph velocity and swung a good bat. His swing is a good one with a quick level stroke producing good pop and a balanced posture. He managed to stay inside the ball consistently and hit line drives. His first step out of the box was a quick one and he registered some home to first times in the 4.2-4.5 range. He is a good prospect and should be on many follow lists for next spring and summer.
