Ryan Castellani is a 2014 RHP/OF with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Brophy College Prep. Long and lean athletic build, has present strength with more to come. Two-way prospect. High energy delivery, tall and rotational, full arm circle with big wrap in back, very fast arm coming through, extended 3/4's slot. Outstanding running action on fastball at times, 2-seam/4-seam look, topped out at 92 mph with lots more in the future, could be mid-90's type. Slurve type breaking ball, shows depth at times, can spin the ball. 6.98 runner, good outfield actions, good outfield arm, long levers but shows coordination/athleticism defensively. Right handed hitter, long loose swing, upper cut swing plane, tends to overstride and dip back shoulder, has bat speed and present lift/power. Projects in all areas, high ceiling talent. Good student.

Ryan Castellani is a 2014 RHP/OF/1B with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Brophy College Prep. Excellent physical build, long and lean, prototype young pitcher's build. Easy delivery, full arm circle, extended 3/4's release, works downhill well. Steady mid 80's fastball, topped out at 87 mph, mostly straight with occasional cutting action. Curveball shows good 2 plane depth, good tight spin. Athletic on the mound, fields position well. Potential 2-way prospect, loose fast right handed swing, uppercut swing with good extension, shows power, hard top spin on solid contact, pulls the ball hard, 7.14 runner with good baserunning instincts. Shows athleticism defensively in the outfield, accurate on line throws, good footwork and mechanics. Very projectable and athletic player, follow closely. Good student.
