John Hennen is a 2014 MIF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Chattanooga, TN who attends McCallie School. Medium athletic build, beginnings of some present strength. Left handed hitter, pre-load approach, limited backside/lower half in swing, upper body swing mechanics are sound, has quick wrists and creates bat speed, line drive swing, loose and fluid, will pull off occasionally but hits through the ball well, has hitting tools to improve. 7.35 runner, moves through the ball well, quick compact release, strong game throws, still working on footwork and balance.
