Ryan Manz is a 2014 LHP/1B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Sugar Land, TX who attends Clements. Large athletic lean frame with room to get stronger. Pitches from an over the top arm slot with a tight release with a balanced online delivery. Has a short quick arm action with good command and has good depth on his curveball. Has a good demeanor on the mound and locates his pitches well. Good footwork around the bag at 1st with a strong arm and saves errors. Starts out with a slightly open stance at the plate with am aggressive approach and a good swing. Is a gap to gap hitter with bat speed and power potential. Is an excellent student.
