Connor Murphy is a 2015 C/3B with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from New Canaan, CT who attends King. Big, strong build with athleticism. Quick behind the plate, moves well to both sides. Aggressive during pops, accurate throws with carry to the bag. Arm strength and pop times both project to get better with additional time behind the plate. Right handed hitter with wide base, deep hand load, keeps weight back. Rotational with strength. Showed ability to pull ball with authority and go the other way. Young player with potential on both sides of the ball.
