Rodriguez is a 5-8 junior second baseman from Miami with some good baseball skills. He shows nice footwork and hands in the infield and has a quick release but still gets some juice on his throws. Rodriguez has strong hands and can generate some bat speed with wood. He hits from a narrow stance with low hands in his set up and keeps his swing short and strong. Rodriguez even showed some power potential that will just develop further as he adds more strength. Rodriguez is an excellent student.
