Andrew Olson is a 2013 SS/3B, OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Louisville, KY who attends dupont Manual. Lean frame with projection. At SS, has good actions with body control and hands that field cleanly. Average arm strength with projection of more to come. Aggressive swing at the plate with good swing mechanics. Uses lower half well with rotation and looks to pull the ball with authority. Showed compact swing in games, hitting the ball hard right back up the middle in multiple at-bats. Also showed good foot speed and aggressiveness on bases. Excellent student.
