Daniel Warren is a 2012 RHP/MIF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Fairfield, CT who attends Fairfield Warde. Compact build with strength. Pitches from 3/4 slot with good arm speed. Very good idea on mound and pitchability. Mechanics are smooth and repeatable. Fastball shows movement to glove and arm side. Works both sides of plate with fastball and 11/5 curveball at 75 that he had good feel for and flashed bite. Arm action works for curveball and would also work for changeup. Good tools on the infield, projects well at 3B. Active hands with quick actions and good feet. Long arm action but has quick release and arm strength will play. Showed strength in his swing at the plate with the ability to square the ball up and go to the opposite field. Interesting two-way prospect. Very good student.
