Andy Honiotes is a 2013 RHP/OF with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Geneva, IL who attends Geneva Community HS. Tall long limbed build, slender and projectable. Very easy arm action, loose and very projectable, smooth out front, easy on line delivery. Steady upper 80's fastball, topped out at 92 mph, more velocity there, nice arm side running action at times. Throws both a curveball and slider, slider bit better but both quality pitches, both have depth and 2-plane break with good feel for throwing strikes, didn't throw change up but has in past. Combines present stuff with projectability and pitching feel, very good prospect. Good student, verbal commitment to Miami.

Andy Honiotes is a 2013 RHP/OF with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Geneva, IL who attends Geneva Community HS. Long and loose build, projects to get stronger. Easy slow paced delivery with back turn and pause, 3/4's arm slot, loose easy arm action. Fastball topped at 87 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side run, big slurve type breaking ball with good shape and depth, threw strikes with both pitches, worked quickly and had an idea. Should throw harder with normal physical development and some delivery adjustments. Good follow.
