Steven Blevins is a 2005 right handed pitcher/infielder from Louisa Kentucky with a solid body. He pitches from a 3/4 slot with a slow and easy delivery with a live, quick arm. He has good run and a lot of late life on his 89 mph fastball. He throws a curveball at 70-71 mph with a tight 12-6 break. He throws a hard slurve at 73-75 mph with an 11-5 break. His curveball and slurve are similar looking, and both are effective out pitches. He did not show a change. He has very projectable velocity and will be a top level college pitcher. Steven is a good student and has signed with Cincinnati..

Steven Blevins is a strong solidly built 6'0/195 RHP from Louisa, KY. He has thrown in the 93 mph range, but topped at 87 in Tropicana. He has a very fast arm and throws slightly cross body. All in all, he has one very powerful arm stroke. His breaking ball was very sharp at times and it looked like he has command of the FB and breaking pitches. He also showed some very good ability with the bat. He creates serious bat speed and the ball jumps. Steven is an excellent student who will get lots of interest from high level DI schools.
