Defensively, he has developing actions and fields the ball deep. He has developing arm strength and he makes accurate online throws. At the plate, Oki starts his swing with a big load and dips his backside. He showed bat speed and has strength in his swing. Oki made solid contact and has some juice in his bat. He looks to pull the ball and made hard contact in BP with lots of line drives. Has some hitting tools, excellent student.

Jeffrey Oki is a 2014 SS/3B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends Maranatha HS. Very nice 2014 build, has present strength with lots more to come, projects well. Bent knee hitting approach, deep hand set, good loose swing with extension, generates bat speed, ball jumps well, mid field contact, can get long and grooved at times, solid hitting prospect. Third base projection, clean hands at the ball, calm release, developing arm strength, will have to work on foot quickness and agility. Excellent student.
