Dylan Drachler is a 2013 LHP/OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Spring Valley HS. Live athletic build, wide shoulders, projects well. Unconventional delivery, long corkscrew arm action, works from stretch, drop and drive, extended mid 3/4's release point, loose arm, will throw uphill at times. Fastball topped at 85 mph with good sink/run, curveball inconsistent but hard, tight spin when on top. Change up best pitch, plus life at times, good arm speed, stays low in zone. 3 quality pitches with deception. Potential 2 way player, 6.74 runner, very good outfield arm strength. Right handed hitter with tall stance and low hands, has some bat speed, can develop better rhythm and hitting approach. Good student.
