Taylor Bloom is a 2014 RHP/MIF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Bowie, MD who is home schooled. Nice athletic build, has some present strength. Calm turn and throw delivery, clean arm action, 3/4's arm slot, has some effort on release which affects command, solid overall mechanics until release. Fastball to 88 mph, mostly straight, generates good spin on curveball, 11/5 shape with good depth at times, maintains arm speed well on change up, off speed pitches have potential but not consistent yet. All ingredients there to keep improving.
