Kevin Scott Hernandez is a 2013 SS with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Camarillo, CA who attends St. Bonaventure HS. Smaller middle infielder's build, quick twitch athletic actions, 7.16 runner. Quick release defensively, good hands, accurate throws, tends to lay back on balls without the arm strength to compensate, has some flair for playing defense. Right handed hitter, good shift into contact, extends through contact, mid field line drive contact, will improve with more strength, 7.16 runner. Good student.
