Alec Hansen is a 2013 RHP/OF with a 6-7 205 lb. frame from Loveland, CO who attends Loveland HS. Tall slender body, lots of room to get stronger, still growing into coordination. Simple side step delivery, short stride, extended 3/4's arm slot, arm late coming through, could lengthen stride to get more in sync, loose quick arm coming through, some effort on release. Fastball to 91 mph, easy to project mid 90's, maintains velocity from the stretch well, fastball mostly straight but good downhill angle. Throws 2 different curveballs, harder slurve much better pitch at this point, good release point out front, gets good spin and occasional depth. Change up looks like turned over 2-seamer, shows promise. Has developing feel for pitches, still raw mechanically but high ceiling talent. Good student.

Hansen has a long lean frame with room to fill out, good pitching body, low 3/4 arm slot, long loose arm action, smooth balanced delivery, good arm speed, fastball has good arm side run, polished on mound, arm works real well, curveball has 11/5 spin and is developing, has high ceiling, high follow on mound, hit from a square stance, good balance and extension, oppo approach, defensively, low 3/4 release, loose arm, shows same arm strength in OF as on mound, ball carries, has arm strength and speed, named to top prospect list, outstanding student.
