Brandon Mauro is a 2014 SS/2B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Des Moines, IA who attends Dowling Catholic HS. Medium frame with room to fill out. Developing infield actions, showed some feel. Tools project well at 2B. Young player who projects to add overall strength and quickness along with arm strength. Right-handed hitter, square stance with middle of the field and oppo contact. Gets extension and does a good job keeping swing short. Stays inside the ball and focuses on contact at present. Excellent student.
