2004 South Undergrad Showcase
Todd Reesing is a 2006 right handed hitting catcher from Austin, Texas. He had a very strong showcase on defense. Reesing has good present strength and athleticism, and shows good bounce and quickness behind the plate. His arm strength is very solid, and he his throws were consistently on the bag in workouts and games around 2.00. Reesing hits from a wide stance with a high hand set up. He takes a full, aggressive hack and showed us some power, especially to the right centerfield alley. Reesing’s high start and equally high finish leave him vulnerable to the lower part of the strike zone, but he looks like he can drive mistakes up in the zone. Reesing is a good overall player who projects well to the college level.
