Ross Dodds is a 2015 SS/RHP, 2B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Tulare, CA who attends Tulare Western. Dodds has a medium sized frame with a young athletic build. He has soft hands on the infield with good actions. He moves well to the baseball and has good footwork. He uses a short arm action with some arm strength. At the plate, Dodds starts with a square stance and a quiet balanced approach. He is quick to the baseball and uses the whole field. Dodds has a deep load with a rotational swing. He shows some bat speed and has some pop as well. Dodds pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action and quick arm. He flashed tight spin on his breaking ball and showed some command. Solid two-way guy, excellent student.
