Tyrone Thomas is a 2016 SS/RHP with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from League City, TX who attends Clear Springs HS. Compact athletic build, strong lower half. Right handed hitter, balanced stance, very good hitting mechanics, aggressive, moves through the ball well, loose extension out front, nice swing path to contact, wish all the 6-2/190 kids swung the same way. Balanced actions defensively, sound fundamentally but will need to increase speed and foot quickness. Also pitched, tall delivery, arm works well, 3/4's arm slot, good tailing action on mid 70's fastball, some depth to 11/5 curveball. Young player who does some things very well. Good student.
