Zach Mogan is a 2006 catcher from Linden, California, with a large frame and strong solid build. He is very aggressive at the plate, and looks to hit the ball hard with every swing. Mogan has good bat speed and shows power potential. He showed Major League average pop times (1.95-2.00), a good release, and online throws to second. Mogan is a high energy type of kid with good lateral movement, and gets to his knees well to block balls. He projects to be a middle of the line up bat that should put up offensive numbers, and spark a lot of interest from quality college programs next year. Zach is a very good student.
