Evyn Gonzalez is a 2015 C/ with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Hasbrouck Heights, NJ who attends Queen Of Peace. Medium, athletic build with present strength on frame. Ran a 7.44 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, throws from a short, compact arm action from his ear. Ball comes out easy, quick transfer, accuracy on throws down. Shows arm strength that will continue to develop, pop time will quicken with use of lower half into throws. Right-handed batter, starts with a high hand set, slightly closed bat, and a quiet set up. Short, line drive path to the ball, looks to go pull side but showed ability to hit to all fields. Gets to front side a little early, shows bat speed in swing. Excellent student.
