Dane Kamalu is a 2015 C/SS, 3B with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Kaneohe, HI who attends James B Castle. Compact frame, lean build. Hits from an open stance, aggressive swing with a line drive plane, solid bat speed with strength in his swing. Solid catch and throw skill behind the plate with a quick transfer and solid arm strength. Short arm action gives quick release, accurate throws in the catcher workout featured good carry. Hands work well as an infielder as well. Good student.
