Kyle Schnell is a 2015 RHP/3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Fort Worth, TX who attends Trinity Valley HS. Medium, athletic build with broad shoulders and present strength on frame. Ran a 7.33 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, throws from a high three-quarter arm slot with a short and compact arm action coming through the back side. Full hand path and stays balanced through delivery, front side opens early but gets on top of ball well, remains upright at release at times. Fastball topped at 80 mph with occasional run to arm side, keeps fastball down and fills up the zone with both pitches. Sharpness and feel to his 12-6 curveball with some depth at 69 mph. Short arm action across the infield with short steps to the ball, longer release.Right-handed hitter, starts with high hand load, length to swing but shows a feel for the barrel and strength when squared with ability to hit to the right-center field gap. Excellent student.
