Connor Power is a 2016 3B/C with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Wellington, FL who attends Palm Beach Central HS. Medium, athletic frame with broad shoulders and a strong, physical build with present strength. Ran a 7.53 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, shows a solid transfer and a quick release, quick feet and gains grounds, pops out of crouch well, solid all around actions with good arm strength and carry to second base. 2.00 top pop time. Right-handed hitter, starts with a closed stance and uses a leg lift trigger. Looks to lift and shows a sound approach in box. Leveraged swing with natural lift and good separation in swing. Repeats swing well, aggressive swing and generates solid bat speed, loud and hard contact off the barrel with carry to pull side. Interesting bat to follow. Very good student. Named to National Underclass East Top Prospect List.
