Max McKinley is a 2016 RHP with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Tallahassee, FL who attends Maclay HS. Large athletic, broad-shouldered build, with good present strength. Long extended arm action, working to a high 3/4 arm slot, loose arm out front and generates good downhill plane. Shows solid feel for up-tempo delivery with high leg raise, consistent use of lower half. Fastball, up to 86 mph, working consistently in the mid-80s, shows ability to both run and cut the offering. Comfortably mixes in a curveball with 11/5 shape, flashes solid bite. Also works in a upper-70s changeup with solid armspeed and runinng action that can play well off of the fastball. Tremendous student.
