Austin De Leon is a 2016 2B/SS/OF/RHP with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Frisco, TX who attends Lone Star HS. Young slender build, good frame for adding strength, good projection. Left handed hitter, big leg raise trigger, swings hard and has quick hands along with developing bat speed, power approach and showed some pop to centerfield, has hitting tools to develop and a sound approach for his build and tool set. 6.84 runner, young actions defensively, plays both infield and outfield, has the beginnings of some arm strength with a long arm action, future position to be determined by growth and speed. Also pitched, 3/4's arm slot, arm worked well coming through, fastball topped at 78 mph with nice 2-seam action at times. Got good spin and bite on a 11/5 curveball that flashed depth. Threw strikes and had a feel for pitching. Very good student.
