Brock Figueroa is a 2016 RHP/OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Ennis, TX who attends Palmer HS. Large, athletic build with a long, projectable frame, present strength and projects for more. Primary right-handed pitcher, works from an over the top arm slot with a quick arm action coming through the back side. Easy, repeatable delivery with steady tempo, gets on top of the ball and generates nice downhill plane. Attacks early in the count with fastball, topped out at 90 mph with riding life and a clean release. Projects for more velocity. Fastball served as out pitch, missing barrels while effectively elevating up in the zone. Curveball shows tight spin with sharp life at 73 mph, consistent feel still developing. Solid present ability and able to miss barrels. Named to South Top Prospect List. Good student.
