Michael Perez is a 2016 2B/UT with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends West Broward HS. Compact athletic build, has some present strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance, short quick swing from a low hand start, has active hitters hands, would benefit from a higher hand position to work from above the ball, solid mid field line drive contact when timed well. 7.48 runner, second base arm action and arm strength, gets ride of the ball quickly and gets into position to throw well, also plays the outfield. Also pitched, fastball topped out at 76 mph from a back turn delivery. Good student.
