Mauricio Rondon is a 2015 C/ with a 5-9 183 lb. frame from Elmhurst, NY who attends John Bowne. Medium, strongly built, mature frame. Looks the part behind the plate. Ran a 7.83 60 yard dash. Shows a quick arm action from behind the plate and makes consistently on the bag throws. Has very quick feet and solid arm strength. Bats right-handed, works from a low hand set and stays balanced. Hits to the opposite field effectively and flashes solid bat speed. Has an aggressive approach. Good student.
