Cameron Hankins is a 2016 OF/ with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Dacula, GA who attends Mountain View. Medium frame, athletic build with present strength. Was limited with hamstring soreness in workouts and batting practice. At the plate shows a slightly open stance with a high back elbow set. Launces lower half with linear actions while producing solid shift into contact. Swing plane is compact to contact with with line drive swing path. Flashed good fast twitch hand actions with ability to control barrel. Worked out defensively from the outfield showing a loose, clean arm action creating accurate throws to the bag with carry. Smooth glove skills while working through transition with clean exchanges while setting up to throw. Good athlete with projectable tools that will continue to develop. Very good student as well.
